Beers similar to Brewers Edition DIPA
hopIQ found 10 beers with the same hoppy and tropical character as Brewers Edition DIPA. Brewers Edition DIPA is a heavily hopped double IPA at 8.5%. Passion fruit and grapefruit lead the flavour, with resin, citrus, stone fruit and pine behind them. The emphasis is on aroma rather than bite: the hop load comes across as aroma, not as harshness, and a touch of invert sugar in the boil keeps the body light for the strength. Concentrated cryo hops from the American Pacific Northwest are used alongside Citra in the whirlpool, with Citra and Centennial in the dry hop. Ranked by flavour match rather than popularity.
