🌍 Canada · Dunkelweizen · One of 28 Dunkelweizens in hopIQ

An amber wheat ale brewed as a tribute to the Canadian singer Gord Downie, made jointly with a second Nova Scotia brewery. Toasted wheat, crystal and chocolate wheat malt give an amber-brown colour and a bready, lightly nutty base with a touch of cocoa. Five hop varieties push it past the usual level for the style: at 27 IBU there is citrus, tangerine and a resinous edge over the malt. Medium bodied, with a dry finish.
