Neon Anxiety

◎ Appearance

Pale golden hue with a soft, hazy suspension throughout the body—characteristic of the New England style. The head forms quickly and retains a delicate, fine foam with modest lacing along the glass. Bright carbonation creates a gentle effervescence without aggression.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with tropical stone fruit and ripe citrus peel, driven by Citra and Nectaron in equal measure. Candied mango and passionfruit sit alongside bright lemon zest. Soft cereal notes from the oat and wheat adjuncts provide a gentle backbone without any resinous or herbal distraction.

◐ Taste

Fruity sweetness develops immediately on entry, with nectarine and guava leading across the palate. Citra's citrus character emerges cleanly in the mid-palate without turning sharp or green. The oats and wheat create a velvety mouthfeel that softens the hoppy presence; bitterness remains restrained and supportive rather than prominent.

◑ Finish

The finish is clean and medium in length, trailing tropical and citrus notes without lingering harshness. A light, sweet fruitiness persists briefly before fading.

Serve at 8–11°C for the best flavour balance and aroma expression.

The curved shape concentrates hop aromas and supports a thick head. Essential for aromatic ales and IPAs where the nose is half the experience.
