◎ Appearance

Deep amber hue, distinctly darker than the Helles label might suggest—a characteristic trait of the traditional Landbier interpretation. Clarity is bright and inviting, with a fine white head that settles to a persistent collar along the glass rim. Carbonation is moderate and even, typical of a well-conditioned lager.

◌ Aroma

Noble hops dominate the nose with a herbal, lightly spiced character, while the malt foundation reveals notes of dried apricot and date. The three German hop varieties—Hallertauer Mittelfrüh, Hallertauer Tradition, and Spalter Select—create a refined and composed aromatic profile. Yeast remains restrained, allowing the noble hop signature to lead.

Entry is fresh and fruit-forward, opening with peach before transitioning to cut grass on the mid-palate. Bread notes build through the middle register, providing a clean malty foundation that supports the herbal hop structure. Bitterness arrives cleanly without harshness, integral to the overall balance rather than dominant.

The finish is notably dry and extends with a pleasant length, leaving a lingering herbal-bitter impression and subtle grain dryness on the palate. No sweetness intrudes; the aftertaste remains crisp and true to style.
