Pale golden-amber hue with excellent clarity and bright translucence. A firm, creamy head forms on the pour and clings persistently to the glass wall, leaving distinct lacing on each sip. Fine carbonation rises steadily through the body.

◌ Aroma

The nose opens with bright Citra citrus—grapefruit zest and tangerine—layered against Columbus resin and dried herb notes. Tropical stone fruit and pine needles emerge on closer inspection, creating a balanced tug between floral-herbaceous and juicy-forward aromatics. Subtle malt backbone supports without dominating.

◐ Taste

Entry is clean and dry, with citrus bite and herbal bite arriving nearly simultaneously. Mid-palate shows peppery resin, grapefruit pith, and a leafy green character that echoes the hop philosophy—no sweet residue. Bitterness is moderate and integrated rather than sharp, finishing with lingering pine and a light astringency.

◑ Finish

Medium-length drying finish with resiny pine and citrus zest fading gradually. Slight astringency and a cool herb aftertaste linger without becoming harsh.

Serve well-chilled. Session IPAs are at their best cold — the lower ABV means less warmth to balance the hops.

The curved shape concentrates hop aromas and supports a thick head. Essential for aromatic ales and IPAs where the nose is half the experience.
