Daybreak 0.5

Tap to rate

Roasted, coffee-like flavours with the rich coffee of a cold brew: an alcohol-free coffee stout at 0.5%, brewed with real coffee beans and barley malt and oats, and hopped with Centennial and Perle at 16 IBU. Daybreak 0.5 grew out of the Daybreak 10 Years Edition, which turned out so well that Frontaal wanted a version to drink at dawn all year round.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with pronounced roasted grain and cold brew coffee character, grounded by real coffee bean aromatics that dominate without harshness. Subtle notes of dark chocolate and subtle cocoa dust emerge beneath, while a light toasted barley sweetness provides foundational depth. Noble hop varieties (Centennial and Perle) contribute a restrained herbal and floral undertone that frames without overwhelming the coffee-forward profile.
