🌍 Germany · Strong Lager · One of 27 Strong Lagers in hopIQ

Flensburger Strand-Lager joined the range in spring 2024 and takes its name from the brewery's annual beach clean-up campaign. It is brewed from three malts, including caramel malts, lagered cold for six to eight weeks and bottled unfiltered. It pours golden to pale amber and hazy under a firm, pearl-white head. The nose is aromatic and lightly spicy; on the palate soft malt meets gentle grassy and floral hop notes. With 16 IBU it carries less bitterness than any other Flensburger beer, and the finish stays finely bitter.
