Beers similar to Bölkstoff
hopIQ found 10 beers that share Bölkstoff's hoppy and spicy-hoppy character. Bölkstoff is the beer from the Werner comics by Rötger Feldmann, who holds the brand. The Gilde brewery produced it first; the Flensburger brewery has brewed it since 2002. It is a typical north German pilsener, pale gold with an abundant, stable white head. A clear hop aroma rises first. The body feels lean yet firm, and after a few seconds a spicy hop bitterness grows steadily on the tongue. A fine malt sweetness accompanies it, the malt body becomes more noticeable, and the hop flavour returns at the end.
