DouGall's Hazy IPA

Tap to rate

A blonde, hazy beer with up to 25 g of hops per litre. Strata makes up more than half of the dry hopping and brings notes of peach, melon, resin, flowers, tropical fruit and pine. It leaves the mouth with a taste reminiscent of fruit juice and a clean, refreshing finish. Malts are rich in protein so that all the flavour blends together, with oats, barley flakes and California Ale yeast.

AI-generated sensory profile for DouGall's Hazy IPA

◎ Appearance

A pale blonde pour with pronounced haze throughout the body, created by suspended yeast and protein-rich grain. The dense, creamy head forms quickly and clings persistently to the glass, leaving fine strands of lacing. Carbonation is lively but restrained, typical of a well-conditioned ale.

◐ Taste

Entry is soft and approachable, with the fruit-forward character of Strata immediately taking the lead. The mid-palate develops a pleasant juiciness reminiscent of fresh fruit juice, balanced by gentle resinous bitterness and subtle floral notes. At 45 IBU, bitterness remains restrained and integrated, never dominating the fruit expression. Oats and barley flakes provide a smooth, creamy mouthfeel without heaviness.
