Fit to Fly

Tap to rate

Black stout with fluffy marshmallow on the nose; biscuit and hints of glossy chocolate follow on the palate. It re-imagines the Scottish teacake as a stout. The name nods to RAF fighter pilots in the 1960s who were banned from taking chocolate teacakes into the cockpit after marshmallows exploded at altitude, a ban lifted in 2025. Brewed with Loch Lomond, following Pub Tropicana earlier in the year. Contains lactose. Cask, 4.1 %.
