Dulle Teve
The name was born in the Oerbar, when an impatient landlady snapped at her husband on the phone, calling him a 'dulle teve' (a mad bitch), and the brewers knew the title was found. A golden tripel of 10%, brewed with white candi sugar in the kettle: fruity in the aroma with a touch of candi sugar, full on the palate, long and dry in the finish with the 10% well hidden. Refermented in the bottle.

AI-generated sensory profile for Dulle Teve
Serve at 10–13°C in a goblet. The yeast character and carbonation are the stars — cold would suppress both.
The wide mouth and heavy base promote head formation and channel rich aromatics toward the nose. Traditional for Belgian strong ales.
Drink within 2 years. Some complexity develops with age but the yeast character is best relatively fresh.
