Enigma Pilsner

◎ Appearance

Pale straw-gold body with excellent clarity and bright translucence. A fine, persistent white head forms with good retention and leaves delicate lacing on the glass. Carbonation is lively and evenly distributed throughout.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with clean, subtle floral notes characteristic of the single hop variety, followed by an intriguing dark-berry character—black currant and plum—that distinguishes this pilsner from its European counterparts. The malt base remains intentionally restrained, allowing the hop to command the aromatics without competition.

◐ Taste

The palate enters crisp and light, with the dark-berry hop character unfolding across the mid-palate in layers of black fruit and subtle stone-fruit complexity. Bitterness builds gradually and remains mild but clearly articulated, balancing the fruit without turning harsh or astringent. The malt foundation is deliberately plain and neutral, never intrusive.

◑ Finish

The finish is dry and clean, with bitterness fading to a crisp, refreshing conclusion. No malt sweetness lingers; the aftertaste remains hoppy and fruit-forward before fading to silence.

Serve well-chilled at 4–6°C for maximum crispness. A pilsner served too warm loses its defining snap.
