◎ Appearance

Bling Bling presents a bright golden-amber hue characteristic of its 9 SRM rating. The beer displays excellent clarity with a substantial, off-white head that clings persistently to the glass, forming fine lacing on each sip. Carbonation is lively and well-integrated, supporting a dense foam collar that holds throughout the drinking experience.

◌ Aroma

The nose is dominated by assertive noble hop character: pronounced grapefruit and pine resin sit atop waves of ripe tropical fruit—mango and passionfruit leap forward with particular intensity. Beneath the hop complexity lies a foundational caramel sweetness from the substantial grain bill, which grounds the aromatic profile. The bouquet is fullest when the beer is young; aeration releases layered citrus and resinous depth that evolve as the beer warms.

◐ Taste

Entry is smooth and malty, with the caramel sweetness immediately apparent across the mid-palate before the hop bitterness asserts itself with classic, old-school character. The bitterness is firm and drying—deliberate and unapologetic—lacking the soft, rounded edges of modern hazy interpretations. Resinous, piney notes weave through the finish alongside persistent citrus, while the 8.5% ABV carries enough warmth to complement rather than overshadow the flavor complexity.

◑ Finish

The aftertaste is long and assertively dry, with lingering bitterness and hop resin that coat the palate well into the finish. A subtle warmth from the alcohol lingers without becoming harsh, and the caramel sweetness gradually fades as the drying bitterness takes final hold.

Serve at 8–11°C for the best flavour balance and aroma expression.

The curved shape concentrates hop aromas and supports a thick head. Essential for aromatic ales and IPAs where the nose is half the experience.
