The nose opens with prominent pine and resinous notes from the dual dry-hop additions, layered over bright citrus—particularly grapefruit and orange zest from Citra and Amarillo. A subtle malt sweetness provides foundation without overwhelming the assertive hop character.

◐ Taste

The palate enters with substantial malt sweetness and a fuller body characteristic of the Imperial IPA style, then transitions into a pronounced bitter-herbal mid-palate dominated by piney, resinous hop flavors. The finish pivots sharply to a dry, crisp conclusion that belies the beer's 8.2% alcohol content.

The aftertaste is clean and lingering, with residual hop bitterness and pine gradually fading to leave a refreshingly dry mineral quality. No alcohol warmth intrudes on the crisp exit.
