🌍 Belgium · Belgian Blonde Ale · One of 46 Belgian Blonde Ales in hopIQ

The blond Grisette joined the range in 1995 and is now brewed organic and gluten-free. Oats and rice sit alongside the barley malt, and a protein rest in the mash breaks the gluten down, with every batch tested before sale. Refermented in the bottle, it pours straw yellow under a fine white head. The body is light and lively, the aroma richer than its strength suggests, and the bitterness pleasantly noticeable. Flavours of lemon, grain, fresh-cut grass, pear, white pepper and a touch of acacia honey.
