◎ Appearance

Pale straw yellow with a hazy, turbid body that catches light with a soft glow. The white head forms readily and clings to the glass with fine, delicate lacing. Carbonation is bright and active, befitting the style.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with ripe pineapple and stone fruit from Rakau, followed by a lychee and bright orange lift from Citra. Motueka adds a crisp lemon-lime zest on the back, creating a layered tropical profile. Subtle Malz sweetness grounds the composition without dominating.

◐ Taste

The palate opens with soft, juicy tropical fruit notes—pineapple and peach—that develop into orange and lemon-lime brightness mid-palate. Bitterness builds gradually and remains moderate at 50 IBU, never harsh or astringent. The body is lighter than expected from a 7.5% ABV offering, allowing the hop character to remain the focal point.

◑ Finish

Clean and refreshing, with the lemon-lime finish fading into a dry, slightly bitter aftertaste. The alcohol warmth is barely perceptible, leaving the drinker with a bright, thirst-quenching impression.

Serve at 8–11°C for the best flavour balance and aroma expression.

The curved shape concentrates hop aromas and supports a thick head. Essential for aromatic ales and IPAs where the nose is half the experience.
