Oktobierfest is Birrone's Festbier for the autumn festival season, sold each year under an abbreviated name with the year attached. The current version is deep golden with a compact white head and a soft, round body. Fresh bread and cereal lead the aroma, accompanied by fine herbal hops. On the palate it is balanced and moderately malty, and it finishes fresh, dry and slightly herbal. Earlier editions were amber and stronger. Bottom-fermented, 4.8 %.
