Berg Kristallweizen

Germany·Kristallweizen
Tap to rate

A wheat beer without haze, golden yellow and crystal clear, defined by its carbonation: finely beaded, lively and fresh, with a prickle on the palate. After the main fermentation in an open vat, fresh wort and yeast are added again and the beer finishes in a closed tank, which builds up its seven grams of carbon dioxide. The grist is malted wheat and barley plus a caramel wheat malt; Tettnanger Perle is the only hop. Original gravity is 12.7 percent.
