Berg Märzen
A seasonal bottom-fermented beer brewed somewhat stronger, in the tradition of the last lager brews of the cold months, which had to keep through summer. It is smooth and caramel-led with a sweetish malt character, and at once spicy and noticeably hopped. Pale barley malt is joined by light and dark caramel malts; the hops are Tettnanger Tradition and Tettnanger aroma hops. Original gravity is 14.5 percent. It is released each year in March.
