Citropolis

Tap to rate

Citropolis is a single-hop session IPA brewed only with Citra, released in July 2026 as a tribute to the beer communities of towns and cities. Classic Citra aromas of lychee, peach and apricot meet a touch of floral eucalyptus, and tropical fruit follows onto the palate. Extra Pale malt with a good share of corn keeps the body very light. The bitterness stays low and the beer finishes juicy and fruity, at 4.5 %.

◐ Taste

The palate opens with juicy tropical fruit that mirrors the aroma, moving seamlessly into a restrained bitterness that complements rather than dominates. The light body—derived from Extra Pale malt and corn adjuncts—delivers crisp drinkability without sacrificing flavor intensity, allowing the Citra hop character to remain the focal point throughout.

◑ Finish

The finish is clean and refreshingly fruity, with lingering citrus and stone fruit notes that fade gradually. No harsh bitterness or astringency remains; the aftertaste is simply dry and inviting.

Serve at 7–10°C

Serve well-chilled. Session IPAs are at their best cold — the lower ABV means less warmth to balance the hops.

Tulip glass

The curved shape concentrates hop aromas and supports a thick head. Essential for aromatic ales and IPAs where the nose is half the experience.

Drink fresh. Session IPAs are brewed to be consumed young — the hops are at their best now.
