Ansbacher Festbier
Ansbacher Festbier is the stronger sibling of Ansbacher Lager, brewed in honour of the Munich beer festival and modelled on the robust yet easy-drinking Festbiers served at Oktoberfest. At 5.8 % against the lager's 5.0 % it pours gloriously golden. A pleasing aroma of traditional noble hops sits over a subtly sweet malt base, and a thirst-quenching bitterness keeps it in balance. It is sold in the autumn as part of the brewery's Oktoberfest series, alongside the Rauchbier.
