🌍 United States · Belgian Blonde Ale · One of 37 Belgian Blonde Ales in hopIQ

Floating Holiday began as a pilot beer and has been Allagash's summer Belgian-style blonde ale since 2022. Pale malt, red wheat and flaked oats form the base, with Cascade and Nugget hops, lemon peel and a pinch of sea salt, and a saison yeast ferments it. It pours bright gold with a soft, medium body. Lemon zest and a peppery, clove-like yeast spice lead over bready malt, a faint saline edge rounds the palate, a touch of sweetness appears as it warms, and the finish is dry and brisk.
