Beers similar to Vache Folle Impérial Milk Stout

hopIQ found 10 beers that share Vache Folle Impérial Milk Stout's roasted and coffee character. Roasted malt drives coffee liqueur and cocoa nib over a base of dark brown sugar, with licorice and burnt biscuit at the edges. Lactose is added for body, rounding the roast and holding a soft sweetness against it, so the restrained bitterness reads as bittersweet chocolate rather than char. The finish is long and creamy, with the strength showing as warmth. Brewed since 2004.
