Caramel opens the bouquet, followed by a roasted note with hints of mocha and a few fruity touches. The bitterness comes from a nutty character and the roasted malts, and the 8 % alcohol is clearly present without making the beer heavy. Refermented in the bottle, aged for two months in the cellar.
