Pale and Munich malts give a full, faintly honeyed base, while Czech Saaz, Dr Rudi and Motueka lay floral and herbal spice over it with a lime-like citrus lift from the New Zealand varieties. The bitterness builds slowly and holds well past the swallow. Crisp and firm rather than soft, and the most bitter lager in the range by some margin.
