Imperial Stout·Netherlands·10% ABV·One of 353 Imperial Stouts in hopIQ·

hopIQ found 10 beers that share The Don's chocolate and vanilla character. Aromas of caramel, vanilla and chocolate meet bay leaf in this soft-tasting Russian Imperial Stout, oaked and whisky-infused, with a right hook at 10% ABV that you will not see coming. It is named after Dmitry Donskoy, 14th-century ruler of northern Russia and prince of Moscow, who reportedly got his opponents drunk before battle.
