Deep brown to near-black in color, with excellent clarity revealing the beer's true darkness. A dense, persistent tan head forms and clings to the glass with fine lacing. Carbonation appears moderate and well-integrated, supporting the visual structure without excess.

◌ Aroma

Roasted malt and dark chocolate dominate the initial nose, backed by distinct coffee notes that ground the profile. Eight hop varieties layer pine resin and bright citrus across the top, creating a striking contrast between the warm roasted character and the sharp, green herbal edge. The combined effect is complex and inviting rather than heavy.

◐ Geschmack

Entry brings immediate roasted malt and chocolate, with coffee undertones that deepen through the mid-palate. The hop load arrives with genuine force—pine and citrus notes cut through the dark sweetness, supported by 37 IBU that come from both the roasted bill and the bold variety selection. The body feels noticeably fuller than the 5.5% ABV would suggest, never thin or light.

The finish remains smooth despite the bittering intensity, with the hop character fading gracefully into residual dark malt sweetness. Aftertaste carries gentle pine and a warm, lingering roasted note that does not dry or grip the palate.
