The nose leads with soft malt and grain character, notably sweet rather than assertive. Subtle honey notes emerge—particularly reminiscent of acacia and linden blossom—adding a delicate floral dimension. The overall impression is clean and inviting without aggressive hop presence.

The palate opens with the promised sweetish malt and grain foundation, supported by a full body that belies the moderate 4.5% ABV. Honey notes persist through the mid-palate, balanced by a crisp carbonation. The finish pivots decisively toward a firm, lingering bitterness rather than fading into malt sweetness.

A pronounced bitter edge dominates the close, providing structure and preventing sweetness from becoming cloying. The aftertaste remains dry and clean, with no soft malty rebound.
