Sailor's Delight presents a clear, reddish-amber body that glows warmly in the glass. The head is stable and well-retained, with good adhesion to the glass wall. Carbonation is evident and appropriate for the style, creating fine, consistent bubbles.

◌ Aroma

The nose opens with toasted bread and light caramel malt notes, underpinned by a red specialty malt character. German hops add a discrete spicy and floral accent that complements rather than dominates the malt foundation. The overall impression is clean and inviting, without sharp edges.

◐ Geschmack

The palate follows the nose with malt in the foreground—toasted grain and subtle caramel—while German hops contribute a gentle spicy and floral thread. Bitterness is moderate and restrained, never becoming aggressive or astringent. The body is lean to medium, allowing flavour clarity without heaviness.

The finish is crisp and clean, characteristic of well-executed lager fermentation. The aftertaste is brief and dry, with lingering toasted notes that fade without persistence.
