A golden haze dominates the glass, suspended by a soft malt and oat foundation that scatters light throughout. The fluffy white head rises generously and clings to the rim with fine Schaumhaftung, slowly receding into a modest collar. The body registers as full and creamy despite the high hop load, with active carbonation visible in a steady stream of fine bubbles.

◌ Aroma

Riwaka hop material dominates with a bold passionfruit and bright citrus character that jumps from the glass immediately. Underneath sits a distinct diesel-like note—resinous and earthy—that adds complexity and prevents the aroma from becoming one-dimensional. A soft malt backbone from Pilsner and wheat reads as gentle sweetness, allowing the hop expression to remain the focal point.

◐ Geschmack

The entry is juicy and tropical, with stone fruit and citrus pith notes filling the mid-palate and creating a full, voluptuous mouthfeel. Dank, resinous hop character builds steadily, delivering resinous bitterness that sits at around 50–60 IBU despite the lack of a declared number. The finish carries both brightness and grip, with enough bitterness to balance the fruit and cream without becoming harsh or astringent.

The bitterness persists into the aftertaste with a dry, resinous character that clings gently to the palate. A lingering citrus and slight diesel note fade slowly, leaving behind a clean, refreshing conclusion.
