Ponto presents a pale golden hue with excellent clarity and bright transparency. The head forms quickly and maintains a fine, delicate collar with good lacing. Carbonation is present and lively, contributing to the beer's crisp visual presentation.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with citrus and stone fruit notes—lime zest and white grape dominate, followed by gooseberry and passion fruit aromatics. Nelson, Motueka and Rakau hops deliver their characteristic tropical and herbal qualities without overwhelming the profile. A subtle malt backbone supports the hop-forward character without asserting itself.

◐ Geschmack

The palate opens with bright citrus and stone fruit flavors that mirror the aroma—lime, white grape, and hints of tangerine provide early complexity. The body remains light and refreshing, allowing hop fruit to drive the flavor without heaviness. Bitterness is gentle and well-integrated, never harsh or assertive, allowing the fruit-forward character to shine through to the finish.

The finish is quick and dry, with hop fruit lingering briefly before fading cleanly. No lingering harshness or astringency—the beer drinks through to a satisfying, refreshing conclusion.

Gut gekühlt servieren. Session IPAs sind am besten kalt — der niedrigere Alkohol bedeutet weniger Wärme zur Balance der Hopfen.
