◎ Aussehen

Pale golden hue with excellent clarity and bright luminosity. A thick, white head forms readily and clings persistently to the glass, leaving distinct lacing with each sip. Carbonation appears lively and well-integrated throughout.

◌ Aroma

A vibrant citrus and tropical hop profile dominates the nose, with notes of grapefruit zest, orange pith, and stone fruit. The locally-sourced pikake (Hawaiian jasmine) emerges distinctly beneath the American hop character, adding a delicate floral sweetness that grounds the aromatics without masking the hop intensity.

◐ Geschmack

The palate opens with assertive citrus and pine from the hop bill, carrying a clean bitter backbone of 75 IBU that builds gradually without harshness. Mid-palate shows stone fruit and subtle tropical notes, while the 8.1% alcohol provides body and warmth that integrates smoothly. The pikake floral note surfaces as a refined undertone, preventing the beer from becoming one-dimensional despite its hop-forward profile.

◑ Abgang

The finish is dry and lingering, with citrus bite and herbal pike persisting on the palate. A subtle floral sweetness from the pikake fades gradually, leaving a clean, bittersweet aftertaste.
