The nose opens with roasted grain and dark chocolate, followed by layered notes of dried dark fruit — plum and raisin. Beneath lies a gentle coffee earthiness with subtle alcohol warmth that doesn't dominate. Molasses sweetness threads through without cloying.

◐ Geschmack

The palate enters rich and full, with roasted barley and cocoa leading. Mid-palate reveals layers of dark stone fruit and subtle coffee bitterness that balances the substantial malt sweetness. The alcohol presence is felt as warmth and body rather than sharp heat, making this a beer to sip slowly as the brewery intends.

The finish is lengthy and warming, with roasted and chocolate notes persisting on the palate. A gentle drying effect follows, leaving dark fruit and mild bitterness in the aftertaste.

Etwas wärmer als erwartet. 10–13°C lässt die gerösteten Malz-, Schokoladen- und Kaffeenoten vollständig entfalten.
