◎ Aussehen

Deep mahogany-brown to near-black, with a SRM of 35 placing it firmly in dark stout territory. The head forms dense and persistent, with fine Schaumkleiden clinging to the glass as you work through the pour. Carbonation reads as moderate and well-integrated, supporting the creamy mouthfeel without excess fizz.

◌ Aroma

The nose opens with roasted malt character—cocoa, dark chocolate, and a whisper of charred grain. Peanut butter emerges cleanly in the middle register, layered rather than competing with the chocolate. A subtle coffee undertone and faint dark fruit note round out the bouquet without dominating.

◐ Geschmack

Entry is smooth and sweetly malty, with roasted depth settling quickly across the palate. Mid-palate delivers the promised chocolate and nutty notes in balance—neither pushes the other—while the creamy body softens any astringency typical of the style. Bitterness remains restrained, allowing the malt sweetness and cocoa undertones to define the experience.

◑ Abgang

The finish is medium-length and clean, with lingering sweetness that never turns cloying. Cocoa and peanut butter fade gracefully into a soft, malty aftertaste.
