Deep mahogany to near-black color, characteristic of the Baltic Porter style. The beer presents excellent clarity for its depth of color, with a dense, creamy head that leaves persistent lacing on the glass. Moderate carbonation drives fine bubbles through the body.

◌ Aroma

The nose opens with prominent dark fruit notes—plum and raisin—alongside graham cracker and brown sugar sweetness. Subtle cocoa undertones from the chocolate malt provide depth without dominating. The lager yeast keeps the profile clean and balanced, without fruity esters or sulfur notes.

◐ Geschmack

Entry is smooth and malty, with brown sugar and graham cracker flavors building through the mid-palate. Dark fruit character persists, while light cocoa adds complexity. Moderate sweetness is balanced by gentle bitterness on the finish—15 IBU provides restraint rather than assertiveness, allowing the malt profile to shine.

◑ Abgang

The finish is warming and lingering, with residual sweetness gradually fading. A light, dry cocoa note closes the experience, leaving a clean, pleasant aftertaste without harshness.

Bei 10–13°C servieren. Zu kalt dämpft die Röstvielfalt, die einen guten Porter langsam trinkbar macht.
