Runaway IPA presents a pale golden hue with excellent clarity and bright transparency. A dense, off-white head forms on the pour and maintains moderate retention, leaving fine lacing along the glass. The beer exhibits lively carbonation evident in persistent streams of fine bubbles.

◌ Aroma

The nose is dominated by American hop character: bright citrus notes of grapefruit and orange zest layer over pronounced pine and resinous undertones. A light malt backbone provides subtle sweetness without obscuring the assertive hop aromatics, creating a fresh and inviting first impression.

◐ Geschmack

The palate opens with crisp citrus and hop bitterness that immediately command attention. Mid-palate develops layered flavors of pine and grapefruit alongside a firm, well-integrated bitterness that carries through without harshness. The finish is dry and snappy, with lingering hop character and minimal residual sweetness.

The aftertaste extends with persistent hop bitterness and subtle pine notes that gradually fade. A clean, crisp conclusion leaves the palate dry and ready for the next sip.
