One of Romania's pioneering craft breweries, founded in October 2013 at the foot of the Ciucaș Mountains. Named after the zăganu (bearded vulture), a Carpathian symbol of freedom. All beers are unfiltered, unpasteurized, and made only from water, malt, hops and yeast. The only Romanian craft beers officially certified as organic. Output: ~5,000 hectoliters/year.
