Pivovar Hostomice
Beer has been brewed in Hostomice since the 15th century, which is why the brewery names 1407 as its founding year. The present building rose after the great fire of 1857 and brewed until 1942, when raw materials ran short; years as a tractor workshop followed, yet brewhouse, malt house and kiln survived. Brewer Štěpán Kříž bought half of the buildings in 2011 and brewed again in spring 2014. The standing range is three bottom-fermented Fabián lagers, hopped with Czech whole-cone hops.

How we measure this
Two thresholds are at work here:
- The signature list shows notes that recur in at least 6% of this brewery's beers. A low bar — enough to flag a pattern, not high enough to call it an exclusive trait.
- The peer comparison below shows only notes where this brewery's coverage differs from similar breweries by at least 20 percentage points. A higher bar — enough to call a real difference, not a nudge.
A note can appear on the signature list without appearing in the peer comparison: it recurs here, but similar breweries do the same thing.
