Light caramel, a touch of coffee and chocolate and a gentle spiciness: four malts build a full, clearly malty beer without the sweet aftertaste of most Czech dark beers. It is distinctly hopped, the bitterness pronounced, and the finish runs very long. This 14° tmavý is a specialty of Bavarian type; brewer Štěpán Kříž wants its dark-malt fullness balanced by hops, not overly sweet.
