His son Georg moved production to the Jägersberg in the late 1920s, where the lagering cellars already lay, and Ludwig Friedmann built a new brewhouse after 1959. In 1982 Sigi Friedmann took charge as Germany's youngest female master brewer. The family house ferments in open vessels, bottles on site and sources malt and hops from the region.
