KEIPA

Tap to rate

Pineapple leads, with citrus from the Citra hops behind it and tropical fruit all round; bitterness stays quietly in the background while the body is full and soft. This hazy IPA, brewed with Citra and Bru-1 at 5%, is VAT'33's flagship and carries Amersfoort's nickname in its name: the Keistad, the boulder city, where a nine-tonne boulder was hauled through town in 1661 and the helpers were rewarded with beer and pretzels.
