Impending Descent
Dark cocoa, burnt toffee and lingering roast define this imperial stout, built on chocolate, Crystal 80, Munich, Pilsner, roast and Special B malts. Cane sugar in the boil raises the ABV to 9.1%, vanilla bean is added, Chinook and Nugget are the hops, and house ale yeast ferments it. An imperial stout was among the first five Scratch beers the brewery brewed. A Brewery Only release from Hershey, Pennsylvania.
