Tasting Notes

AI-generated sensory profile for Blizzard of Hops

◎ Appearance

Hazy golden-yellow body with bright, lively carbonation and a thick, persistent white head that builds quickly when poured. The cloudiness from unmalted and white wheat provides an inviting, opaque quality characteristic of the style. Excellent head retention and lacing cling to the glass throughout the drinking experience.

◌ Aroma

Bright citrus and stone fruit jump from the nose, with distinct pineapple and orange rind notes supported by herbal, earthy spruce-tip undertones. The Centennial, Chinook, El Dorado and Galaxy hops create a complex, layered bouquet without any harsh solvent character. A subtle grainy-wheat softness rounds out the background, allowing the hop expression to dominate.

◐ Taste

Entry is crisp and immediately hoppy, with citrus and pine asserting themselves across the palate. Mid-palate develops a clean, grainy wheat backbone that prevents the beer from becoming one-dimensional, while the herbal and piney notes from Chinook and Centennial build steadily. Moderate bittering at 60 IBU is integrated rather than aggressive, finishing with lingering citrus and a drying effect.

◑ Finish

Dry, crisp finish with residual hop bitterness and citrus rind persistence that extends cleanly into the aftertaste. The wheat adds a fine, slightly mineral dryness that complements rather than masks the hop character.
