Pale golden in color with excellent clarity and a fine, persistent white head that forms clean Schaumkleiden down the glass. Bright, lively carbonation creates a vigorous pour that settles to a refined, lasting foam collar. The beer presents a clean, classic West Coast appearance that invites immediate inspection.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with fresh citrus—grapefruit and lemon zest—layered over subtle pine and resinous hop character from the Citra and Centennial additions. Clean malt backbone provides a whisper of light grain sweetness that refuses to dominate. The Citra Cryo contributes a crisp, fruity edge without astringency, keeping the overall profile bright and inviting.

◐ Taste

The palate opens with clean malt sweetness before a wave of herbal, citric bitterness settles in across the mid-palate. Grapefruit pith and dry pine needles persist without becoming harsh or one-dimensional. The 6.5% ABV remains fully integrated, allowing the hop expression to shine without alcohol heat, while a drying resinous quality builds toward the back of the mouth.

The finish is long and dry, with lingering bitter compounds and a faint piney aftertaste that suggests quality Edelhopfen work. No astringency or unpleasant harshness—simply a clean, dignified fade.

Serve at 8–11°C for the best flavour balance and aroma expression.
