🌍 Japan · Pale Lager · One of 101 Pale Lagers in hopIQ

Perfect Suntory Beer launched in April 2021 as a full-strength lager fermented until practically no residual sugar remains. It is brewed partly with diamond malt, plus hops and sugar, which the yeast converts almost entirely into alcohol over a long fermentation. The launch recipe used a triple decoction mash, and a November 2025 revision adjusted the grain ratio and brewing conditions. Cracker-like malt and a clean hop bitterness give it a fuller body than its dryness suggests, ending in a crisp, very dry finish.
