St. Georgen Helles

Tap to rate

The everyday pale lager of the house, formerly sold as Vollbier Hell. The brewery describes it as deep gold with a long-lasting, stable head and strong yet fine malt aromas, and calls its character round and soft: the half-litre people know from Franconian inns, beer cellars and village festivals. It is brewed from a blend of Franconian malts with water from the brewery's own spring, mashed slowly and lagered in two tanks at falling temperatures down to minus one degree.
