◐ Taste

The palate opens with bright tropical fruit and a sharp, tangy pineapple note that defines the mid-palate. Resinous hop bitterness builds gradually, supported by a solid malt backbone that prevents the beer from becoming thin. The finish turns increasingly dry and herbal, with lingering dank complexity and a moderate, measured bitterness.

◑ Finish

The aftertaste persists with a gripping, dank hop resin and subtle citrus character that gradually fades over several minutes. Bitterness remains present but balanced by the underlying malt structure.

What is a Double IPA?

IPAs are hop-forward ales with 5.5–7.5% ABV and IBU 40–70+. Bold hop aroma — citrus, tropical, resinous — with firm bitterness and a dry, clean finish.

Finding a similar Double IPA

hopIQ matches by flavor profile — not just style label. A beer with the same dank, tropical, hoppy character as Pineapple Resin will score highly even if brewed in a different country or under a different sub-style name.
