At Last

Tap to rate

Notes of pink grapefruit, orange, guava and a little horticultural dankness. They come from Paradisi, a new variety from Freestyle Hops that is a cross of Pacific Jade and an NZ male, super sticky and highly aromatic. At Last is an 8.0% DIPA. Track was thrilled to get its hands on this exciting new variety.

◌ Aroma

The nose opens with vibrant citrus—pink grapefruit and orange zest dominate, backed by tropical guava notes. ◐ Taste

The palate enters with bold citrus-forward intensity—orange and grapefruit acidity define the mid-palate without excessive sweetness. A steady, resinous bitterness builds through the center, complemented by the horticultural dankness that adds depth and complexity. The 80 IBU integration is clean and well-balanced; malt provides just enough body to support the assertive hop profile without dominating.

◑ Finish

The finish is dry and lingering, with citrus and herbal notes extending into the aftertaste. Bitterness fades gradually, leaving a pleasant dank resinousness that encourages another sip.

IPAs are hop-forward ales with 5.5–7.5% ABV and IBU 40–70+. Bold hop aroma — citrus, tropical, resinous — with firm bitterness and a dry, clean finish.

hopIQ matches by flavor profile — not just style label. A beer with the same citrusy, hoppy, orange character as At Last will score highly even if brewed in a different country or under a different sub-style name.
