Sixpoint Bengali IPA

◎ Appearance

Bengali displays a bright, golden-amber hue with excellent clarity and a fine white head that dissipates at a moderate pace. The beer presents a well-carbonated character with steady lacing down the glass, typical of a well-crafted American IPA.

◌ Aroma

The nose is immediately dominated by vibrant citrus and tropical fruit notes, with prominent mango and pineapple aromas from the Citra and Amarillo hops. Floral and herbal elements add complexity, with subtle pine undertones and a clean malt backbone that supports the hop profile without overwhelming.

◐ Taste

The palate opens with bright citrus and tropical fruit character that evolves through the mid-palate with balanced bitterness and subtle spicy hop notes. The medium body provides good structure without heaviness, allowing the grapefruit and pine to develop, culminating in a firm but not harsh bitter finish that showcases excellent hop definition.

◑ Finish

The finish is clean and dry with a lingering hoppy bitterness that gradually fades. The aftertaste remains pleasantly bitter with fading citrus notes, leaving a refreshing impression without any harsh or astringent qualities.

Serve at 8–11°C for the best flavour balance and aroma expression.

The curved shape concentrates hop aromas and supports a thick head. Essential for aromatic ales and IPAs where the nose is half the experience.
