◎ Appearance

Shiny Side pours with brilliant clarity and a pale golden hue characteristic of the West Coast IPA style. The head forms densely and maintains good retention, clinging to the glass in a fine, lacy pattern. Carbonation is crisp and well-integrated, lending visual liveliness to the pour.

◌ Aroma

The nose opens with prominent citrus and floral notes from the late Centennial addition—grapefruit zest mingles with delicate florality. The dry hop of Citra and Mosaic pushes the aromatic profile toward orange peel, lime, and subtle tropical fruit character that bridges contemporary and classical West Coast sensibilities. Malt presence is restrained, offering a clean, neutral backdrop.

◐ Taste

The palate entry is clean and snappy, with balanced bitterness that sits comfortably at 60 IBU without dominating. Mid-palate develops juicy orange and lime notes from the dry hopping, sustained by a light, crisp malt structure. The finish drives toward dryness, with a lingering citrus and herbal edge that resolves crisply rather than clinging.

The finish is notably dry and clean, with lingering grapefruit and lime notes fading briskly. No residual sweetness or oxidative notes cloud the departure.

Serve at 8–11°C for the best flavour balance and aroma expression.

The curved shape concentrates hop aromas and supports a thick head. Essential for aromatic ales and IPAs where the nose is half the experience.
